The South Arm Marina is excited to offer Lake Charlevoix’s only Dry Slip Valet service for Summer 2024.  We are accepting up to 18 vessels for our second year of this program.  Please give us a call if you are interested.

How it works…The Basics:

South Arm Marina will store your boat year-round in one of our lakeside storage buildings. Dry Slip Valet requests are done exclusively through our online reservation system and your boat will be launched as requested ready-to-go at our marina.  When your boat is returned to our designated valet slips, it will be hauled out and stored dry and free from the weather, lake grime, and typical boat covering and other hassles of a “wet” slip.  As added flexibility, your boat may also be removed from storage if you desire to trailer your boat to another lake. Our Dry Slip Valet program requires an annual commitment and your boat to have a trailer, indoor year-round cold storage, maintenance, winterization, and commissioning performed at our facility.  The membership fee includes 5 round trip in and out launches with additional launches available.  The goal of this program is to provide our Dry Slip Valet members with the same hassle-free boating as our rental customers.   Let us take care of everything and just enjoy your boat!

Who is Dry Slip Valet for and not for:

  • Who is it for:

    • Boaters that want hassle-free, just show up boating within the hours, season, and parameters of the program.  For many, this program will be a cost and time savings over a traditional wet slip and marina service arrangement.

    • Boaters that want in-house maintenance, service, boat cleaning, fueling, and indoor year-round storage.

    • Vacation home owners and boaters that are gone periodically or travel during the boating season and do not want to keep their boat in the water or deal with the concerns of a "wet" slip

  • Who is it not for:

    • Boaters that want to use their boat outside of the program’s hours, season, and parameters.

    • Boaters that want to use their slip space as a hangout spot.

Inquire for additional details about our Dry Slip Valet Membership. Please note: while it is our intention to maintain the various rules, parameters, dates, etc displayed here, things are subject to change.  We will do our best to notify those affected of any changes.
